Forest officials in arid Kutch region of Gujarat have spotted and photographed the endangered Caracal, a cat family species, after almost 10 years. The Caracal is a beast that is in between a tiger and wolf in appearance. It has tufts at the tip of its long ears. It is found in parts of Africa and in some parts of Madhya Pradesh apart from Kutch in Gujarat. The officials managed to spot the shy beast after many days of observation and efforts to track it in whatever manner they could.
