Protesting to the issue of gang rape of a girl student in Patan town of Gujarat, Patan town observed complete shutdown.

 

The State Government has ordered a magisterial probe over the incident of gang rape of a girl student who was repeatedly harassed by her own 6 teachers.  

 

Chief Minister Narendra Modi condemned the incident as the most "shameful act" and promised to take all necessary steps for the safey of the girl students. 

 

A team from the National Commission for Women also visited the victim and has demanded for stern action against the culprits.
