Govt may ban cement exports

To tackle with the spiralling price rises, government may put a ban on cement exports.
If this comes into effect the manufacturers of cement especially the ones in Gujarat including Gujarat Ambuja and Aditya Birla group's Ultratech are is the major ones to be affected.
Earlier concerned over the rising inflation levelsunion minister for commerce and industry, Kamal Nath has indicated of banning cement exports aimed at augmenting domestic supplies. --MP
