L&T plans for mass investment

Amid economic slowdown, atleast some companies are showing a strong face to come up with more investments. Construction company L& T has announced its expansion plans which include setting up of manufacturing plants at Hazira in Surat aand Vadodara.

"We will require around 5,000 engineers to work in Gujarat,"informed L&T Chairmanwho was in Vadodara to inaugurate the L&T Knowledge City campus. In Gujarat alone the company intends to invest Rs 4500 crore on various  core engineering projects.
