More officials are under scanner as the Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation Team(SIT) has come up with the name of State Minister for Women's Welfare with the alleged involvement in the 2002 communal riots.
The team is also probing various officials including top cops regarding the handling of the case. The court even have listed the minister and State VHP leader as absonding after they failed to cooperate with the agency.
The latest declarations by the Court has put on pressure on the Modi led BJP government to respond as the minister seems to be untraceble and a legal action is awaited.
