Heaps of bio-Medical waste seized

Tonnes of bio medical waste has been recovered from hospitals in Ahmedabad and Surat which are then transferred to warehouses and traded back to hospitals with the help of dealers.
With Gujarat still gripping from the outbreak of the deadly Hepatitis B, the incident has thrown light to the illegal trade of medical equipments including syringes and needles in the medical industry. Police claims the hands of dealers behind these medical waste trading and is probing on those traders involved. --MP
